<p>Croatian music star Severina will perform at the New Year's Eve 2027 celebration in Tuzla, confirmed to Avaz by the Tuzla Tourism Board.</p><p>Amra Jaganjac, Director of the Tuzla Tourism Board, confirmed that preparations for one of the city's largest events have already begun and that Severina will be in charge of the New Year's spectacle in the open.</p><p>– I can confirm that Severina will perform in Tuzla for the 2027 New Year's celebration. <p>Hundreds of thousands of revelers packed the streets of west London on Monday for the climax of the Notting Hill Carnival, one of the world’s biggest celebrations of Caribbean music and culture.</p><p>Organizers say up to 2 million people are expected to take in the music, parades, dancing and food over the two days of Europe’s largest street party, which began Sunday with a children’s parade.</p><p>The carnival traces its history back to 1958, when Trinidadian human rights activist Claudia Jones began organizing a gathering to unify the community after a series of racist attacks on Black people in the Notting Hill neighborhood.</p><h2>Huge annual street party</h2><p>Launched in 1964 with a few Trinidadian steel bands, it has grown into a huge annual street party involving colorful floats, thousands of calypso dancers in spectacular feathered costumes, almost 20 steel bands and more than two dozen sound systems.</p><p>The carnival returned to the neighborhood’s narrow streets last year after two years when it had to be held online because of the coronavirus pandemic.</p><h2>A symbol of the post-war mass migration</h2><p>This year’s event coincides with commemorations of the 75th anniversary of the arrival in England of the Empire Windrush, a ship carrying hundreds of people from the Caribbean to new lives in Britain. <p>Swift announced Thursday that the concert film “Taylor Swift - The Eras Tour” will open in North American theaters Oct. 13. The theater chain AMC, anticipating high demand from Swift fans, said the film will play at least four times a day Thursday, Fridays, Saturday and Sundays at all of its U.S. locations.</p><p>- The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon - Swift said on social media channels.</p><p>Prices will be higher than usual movie tickets. An adult ticket will cost $19.89 ( "1989 (Taylor's Version)" is coming soon) and a child ticket is priced at $13.13 (seemingly a nod to her favorite number ). <p>The cast of “Breaking Bad” has reunited to call upon Hollywood studios to resume negotiations with striking screen actors.</p><p>- We want you to come back to the table with us - Bryan Cranston said in a plea to the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers outside Sony Pictures Studios on Tuesday.</p><p>Cranston was joined by Aaron Paul, Jesse Plemons and other members of the “Breaking Bad” universe in an effort to energize picket lines more than a month after SAG-AFTRA joined striking Hollywood writers.</p><p>Both guilds are seeking to address issues brought about by the dominance of streaming services, which have changed all aspects of production and pay in the industry.</p><p>- The way things were structured 10 years ago made a lot of sense and it made it more possible for journeymen-type actors, actors in the middle that are working just as a hard or harder - Plemons said.</p><h2>“We just want them to see reality.”</h2><p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 20px;">By its final season, which aired more than a decade ago, “Breaking Bad” was one of the most watched and highest rated cable TV shows ever.</span></p><p>The AMC hit series has achieved enduring popularity on Netflix, but its stars say that has not been reflected in their pay.</p><p>“I don’t get a piece from Netflix on ‘Breaking Bad’ to be totally honest and that’s insane to me,” Paul said. “I think a lot of these streamers know that they have been getting away with not paying people a fair wage and now it’s time to pony up.”</p><p>Cranston said they chose Sony for their reunion as the studio behind the Emmy-winning hit, along with its spinoff projects, the AMC prequel series “Better Call Saul” and the Netflix film, “El Camino.”</p><p>“We’re not making them the enemy. <p>Britney Spears ' husband, Sam Asghari, has filed for divorce from the superstar 14 months after they were married, a person familiar with the filing said late Wednesday.</p><p>The person, who is close to Asghari but not authorized to speak publicly, confirmed the filing happened Wednesday, hours after several outlets including TMZ and People magazine reported the couple had separated.</p><p>An email sent to a Spears representative was not immediately returned. Court records in Los Angeles and Ventura counties did not show where the case had been filed.</p><h2>Married&nbsp;on June 9, 2022</h2><p>Spears married Asghari at her home in Thousand Oaks, California, on June 9, 2022 in front of guests including Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton and Madonna, in a wedding seen as a milestone in her newly reclaimed life after the dissolution just six months earlier of the court conservatorship that controlled her life for more than 13 years.</p><p>The pop superstar met and began dating Asghari, a model and actor, when he appeared in her video for the song “Slumber Party” in 2016.</p><p>She cited her desire to marry Asghari as among the reasons she wanted an end to the constraining conservatorship, which she said was preventing it. The two announced their engagement in September of 2021 as it became clear she would be freed from the conservatorship — which was ended that November.</p><h2>Lost a baby</h2><p>Spears said she and Asghari lost a baby early in her pregnancy in May 2022, about a month before they married.</p><p>Reports of the couple's struggles had increased in recent months.</p><p>Their marriage is the first for the 29-year-old Asghari and the third for the 41-year-old singer. She was married for less than three days in 2004 to childhood friend Jason Alexander, who attempted to crash her wedding to Asghari and was later convicted of misdemeanor trespassing and battery.</p><p>In 2004, she wed dancer Kevin Federline. Their three-year marriage would come at a time of intense media scrutiny and increasing mental health struggles for Spears. Federline is the father of her two teenage sons, and has custody of the boys.</p><h2>“The Woman in Me"</h2><p>She would be placed in the conservatorship run by her father in 2008. She did well under the arrangement at first, continuing to release records, make videos, and perform live, including a major concert residency in Las Vegas. I feel God shined down on me to allow me to to capture that.”</p><h2>Theories</h2><p>To add to the thrill, seconds after the three whales breached and twisted through the air, a juvenile whale did the same thing. Whale experts later told Addie that the aerial maneuvers may have been an attempt to remove parasites or aid digestion.</p><p>He has another theory: “I have a feeling that maybe they were teaching or training” the younger whale.</p><p>Those same experts also know how rare the spectacle was.</p><p>- Even some of the whale experts that have reached out to me, they’re all jealous because they’ve never seen it - Addie said.</p>

<p>Adidas said Friday that it is releasing a second batch of high-end Yeezy sneakers after cutting ties with rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, as the German sportswear brand seeks to unload the unsold shoes while donating to groups fighting antisemitism.</p><p>The online sale, to start Wednesday through Adidas smartphone apps and its website, follows an earlier set of sales in May. Models that will be available include the Yeezy Boost 350 V2, 500, and 700 as well as the Yeezy Slide and Foam RNR.</p><p>The company cut ties with Ye in October after he made antisemitic and other offensive remarks online and in interviews. That left Adidas holding 1.2 billion euros ($1.3 billion) worth of unsold Yeezys and searching for a responsible way to dispose of them.</p><h2>Best solution to deal with</h2><p>Adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden said in May that selling the popular sneakers and donating some of the profits was the best solution to deal with the unsold inventory and make a difference. He said the company spoke with nongovernmental organizations and groups that were harmed by Ye’s comments and actions.</p><p>Part of the profits from the sales of the Yeezy shoes will go to the Anti-Defamation League and the Philonise &amp; Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change, run by social justice advocate Philonise Floyd, the brother of George Floyd.</p><p>Shoes sold directly by Adidas in North America will include blue square pins established by Robert Kraft's Foundation to Combat Anti-Semitism as a symbol of solidarity in rejecting antisemitism, the company said.</p><h2>Sale of Yeezy shoes</h2><p>Adidas declined to give details on numbers of shoes that would be released for sale and how much of the proceeds would be donated. Asked if Ye would receive royalties from the sales, the company would only say that “we will honor our contractual obligations and enforce our rights but will not share any more details."<br></p><p>The company said Monday that the first sale of Yeezy shoes helped its preliminary second-quarter financial results and contributed to it raising its outlook for the year — from a high single-digit decline in revenue to a mid-single digit decline.</p><p>That would still amount to an operating loss of 450 million euros (more than $494 million) this year, instead of a loss of 700 million euros.</p><p>Adidas, which reports its earnings for the first half of the year on Thursday, said it expected future Yeezy sales to further boost its results.</p>

<p>ChatGPT-maker OpenAI and The Associated Press said Thursday that they've made a deal for the artificial intelligence company to license AP's archive of news stories.</p><p>- The arrangement sees OpenAI licensing part of AP’s text archive, while AP will leverage OpenAI’s technology and product expertise - the two organizations said in a joint statement.</p><p>The price of the deal was not disclosed.</p><p>- Both organizations will benefit from each other’s established expertise in their respective industries, and believe in the responsible creation and use of these AI systems - the statement said.</p><p>The two companies said they are also examining “potential use cases for generative AI in news products and services,” though didn't give specifics.</p>

<p>A still-life fresco discovered recently in the Pompeii archaeological site looks like a pizza, but it's not, experts at the archaeological site said Tuesday.</p><p>They noted that key ingredients needed to make Italy's iconic dish — tomatoes and mozzarella — were not available when the fresco was painted some 2,000 years ago.</p><p>Tomatoes were only introduced to Europe from the Americas a few centuries ago, and some histories have it that the discovery of mozzarella led directly to the invention of pizza in nearby Naples in the 1700s.</p><h2>Frugal meal</h2><p>The image is instead believed to be a focaccia covered with fruit, including pomegranate and possibly dates, finished with spices or a type of pesto, experts said. In the fresco, it is served on a silver plate and a wine chalice stands next to it.</p><p>The contrast of the frugal meal served in a luxurious setting, denoted by the silver tray, is not unlike modern-day pizza, “born as a poor-man’s dish in southern Italy, which has won over the world and is served even in starred restaurants," said Gabriel Zuchtriegel, director of the Pompeii archaeological site.</p><h2>UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage</h2><p>The ancient Roman city of Pompeii was destroyed in the eruption of nearby Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. The sudden and deadly event left much of the structure intact, embalmed in volcanic ash, and the site is now a major archaeological project and tourist attraction.</p><p>The Coldiretti ag lobby immediately seized on the discovery of the fresco to promote pizza — invented as a quick meal for the working poor — as a national treasure. Today, pizza represents one-third of the food budget of foreign visitors and generates total annual revenues of 15 billion euros ($16.4 billion) in Italy.</p><p>The art of the Neapolitan pizzamaker was put on UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage list in 2017, recognized for its four phases of dough preparation and for being baked exclusively in a wood oven at 485 degrees Celsius (905 degrees Fahrenheit.)</p>

<p>Password sharers have been given a major boost as Netflix announced a major change to their rules. The streaming giant introduced the measure amid a crackdown on joint accounts.</p><p>The company announced yesterday that they were taking steps to make it easier for customers to transfer profiles between accounts. Beforehand, you could only transfer your profile to a newly-created account, but now this can be done with those you are reactivating.</p><p>For example, if you shared an account with a partner or pal, but have now been booted off it, you can still access your data even on old accounts. You could even swap right from the account you shared with an ex to that of your new flame.</p><h2>Extra feature</h2><p>The tool was first rolled out last year, but has now been updated with this extra feature.</p><p>All you have to do is enter the email and password related to the profile into the Profile Transfer area on the Profile section of the account page. This will transfer over your watch history, shared games and MyList, so your viewing experience carries on without a hitch.</p><p>It comes after Netflix imposed a monthly fee per "extra member" using your account from May.</p><h2>Subscription costs</h2><p>The measures are designed to stop users from getting around subscription costs by sharing their login details with family and friends.</p><p>However, it was revealed that thousands of people could completely lose access to the service if they were sharing it through Sky, Virgin or BT.</p><p>Despite the backlash, experts have said that the crackdown could actually help users save cash by protecting them from hackers.</p><p>Meanwhile, fans have already started coming up with cheeky ways around the sharing ban.</p>

<p>Google said Thursday that it's rolling out its AI-powered chatbot Bard across Europe and in Brazil, expanding its availability to hundreds of millions more users.</p><p>The company also said it's adding more features to Bard as it scrambles to keep up with rival Microsoft — which uses OpenAI's popular ChatGPT service in its Bing search engine — in the race to capitalize on generative artificial intelligence technology that has captured worldwide attention.</p><p>Google launched Bard in February, but its planned rollout last month in the European Union was delayed as regulators checked whether the service complied with the 27-nation bloc's strict privacy rules.</p><p>The company said it has “proactively engaged with experts, policymakers and privacy regulators."</p><h2>Privacy watchdog</h2><p>The Irish Data Protection Commission, Google's main EU privacy watchdog, said it sent the internet search giant a detailed list of questions seeking more information.</p><p>As a result, Google hit pause and “made a number of changes” ahead of Thursday's European launch, ”in particular increased transparency and changes to controls for users," the watchdog said.</p><p>Google detailed the improvements in a blog post, which said Bard can now be used in more than 40 languages, including Arabic, Chinese, German, Hindi and Spanish.</p><p>Users also can tailor the tone and style of Bard's replies and ask it to read out responses, which Google said is “helpful if you want to hear the correct pronunciation of a word or listen to a poem or script.”</p><h2>New breed of AI&nbsp;</h2><p>English-language users can now start uploading images along with prompts for Bard to analyze for answers, Google said.</p><p>A new breed of AI chatbots has wowed users with the ability to respond to questions with text, images or video that mimic human work, underscoring big advances by the technology that companies are rushing to take advantage of.</p><p>Billionaire Elon Musk, who has voiced concerns about the existential risk that artificial intelligence could pose to humanity, this week launched his own AI company with the lofty but vague goal of understanding the universe.</p><p>New AI systems, though, also have raised concerns about data privacy, copyright infringement and misinformation.
