-However, that statement comes by approximately 15 years too late, because B&amp;H defined the commitment to join the NATO in 2006 with the Law on Defense- Sarajlić reminded.

-First of all, we need to draw attention to a number of facts to the Embassy of the Russian Federation based on the decisions of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, decisions that the Embassy of the Russian Federation should respect, especially when we have a long-standing position of Russia on respecting the decisions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.-Therefore, he recalls, Bosnia and Herzegovina submitted an official request for participation in the MAP or NATO Membership Action Plan in 2009, in accordance with the decision of the then convocation of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, signed by B&amp;H Presidency member Nebojša Radmanović.

In Sarajevo's municipality of Novi Grad, during the ongoing construction works, human remains were discovered today at the Alipašin Most site, more precisely, several bone fragments, for which a forensic doctor confirmed to be the remains of human origin.

The Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of B&amp;H, headed by Alena Kurspahić-Nadarević, has been investigating for exactly one year whether Ranko Debevec, President of the Court of B&amp;H, committed a disciplinary offense related to allegations of abuse of office and corruption.&nbsp;

We remind you that several disciplinary cases have been filed against the head of the Court of B&amp;H, and the report that he committed the criminal offense of abuse of position or authority under Article 220 of the B&amp;H Criminal law and several corrupt acts was submitted to the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H on March 18th last year.
Immediately after the report that he abused his official position by not declaring property in Spain and dual citizenship, the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H was officially informed about it by the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor. Debevec was later reported for inappropriate contact with the accused ISA director Osman Mehmedagić, who was tried in the Court of B&amp;H, as well as a number of other abuses of office.
However, the question is why, given all the evidence that the Office received in November last year, and which was obtained by the Prosecutor's Office through international legal assistance, no disciplinary action and procedure have been initiated.
In addition to the lawsuit, as we have already stated, Debevec is threatened with temporary removal from the position of President of the Court, which is also stated in Article 77 of the Law on the HJPC of B&amp;H.
The law clearly states that a judge or prosecutor may be temporarily removed from office "if disciplinary proceedings have been instituted for a disciplinary offense."
However, there is growing speculation that individuals in the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor, although they informally announced the lawsuit last week, want to save Debevec from disciplinary responsibility at all costs, seeking additional time for investigation.

Namely, the Law on the HJPC states that the procedure for determining disciplinary responsibility must be completed within one year from the day of filing the report.
That deadline officially expired yesterday. Therefore, the Office of the Disciplinary HJPC would have to file a lawsuit, if nothing else, by the end of the week. When we asked what happened to the disciplinary investigation, we were answered as in previous months - "disciplinary proceedings have not been initiated." Although numerous pieces of evidence published in the media have confirmed that Debevec committed numerous disciplinary offenses, the Office is silent about it for now.

Aspirin may reduce the risk of severe coronavirus symptoms, according to a study by George Washington University on Thursday.

Mexico’s government said on Thursday it would apply travel curbs on its southern and northern borders to contain the spread of COVID-19 as a U.S. official said the Biden administration planned to loan Mexico vaccines to combat the pandemic.

The foreign ministry’s announcement that Mexico would be tightening its border with Guatemala comes just as the country plans to step up enforcement efforts on that frontier to curb illegal immigration, according to a Reuters report.
Mexico has been pressing the U.S. government for a loan of vaccines to help its drive to tackle COVID-19, and President Joe Biden is under increasing pressure to reduce a recent surge in migrants from Central America reaching the U.S. border.
A U.S. congressional source said the mutually beneficial news of the vaccine and border decisions was not coincidental. A Mexican official did not immediately reply to a request for comment on whether the two announcements were linked.

The closely-watched announcement comes after the WHO and Britain's health watchdog both said the vaccine was safe, adding that it was far riskier to not get the shot as several countries face a worrying rise in coronavirus cases. 
-The committee has come to a clear scientific conclusion: this is a safe and effective vaccine- European Medicines Agency (EMA) chief Emer Cooke said Thursday after a probe by the body's safety committee. 
-The committee also concluded that the vaccine is not associated with an increase in the overall risk of thromboembolic events or blood clots- she added.
However, the agency "cannot rule out definitively" a link to a rare clotting disorder. 
The UK health regulator on Thursday also said there were no links between blood clots and the AstraZeneca jab, or the Pfizer vaccine.

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija talked today with Ambassador of France to B&amp;H Christine Toudic about current political and economic issues in B&amp;H and the world.

The officials assessed that the political relations between the two countries are very good and without open issues, but that there is room for enhancing economic cooperation, given the strength of the French economy and the investment potential of B&amp;H.
Tegeltija pointed out particularly good cooperation in the field of culture, assessing that the long-term cooperation of French regions and cities with local communities in B&amp;H contributes to the development and strengthening of friendly ties through various cultural, economic and educational contents.
He briefed Ambassador Toudic on the current political and economic situation in B&amp;H, the European integration process and the priorities of the Council of Ministers, and stressed that B&amp;H deserves candidate status, expressing the expectation that France, as a friendly country, understands and supports the position, B&amp;H Council of Ministers announced.

Tegeltija: B&H deserves EU candidate status

In the past 24 hours, 3,878 samples were registered with the Public Health Institute of the Federation of B&amp;H, of which 1,156 were positive for SARS-CoV-2. New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of B&amp;H.

So far, a total of 501,260 samples have been tested in the Federation of B&amp;H, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 98,058 people.
As of today, 82,924 patients have recovered in the Federation of B&amp;H. In the past 24 hours, 631 patients recovered. Currently, there are 12,012 SARS-CoV-2 positive cases in the Federation of B&amp;H.
In the past 24 hours, 42 new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of B&amp;H. As of today, the number of deaths in the Federation of B&amp;H is 3,122, the entity Institute for Public Health announced.
In the last 24 hours, at the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska, the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, the University Hospital in Foča and the hospitals of Sv. Vračevi in ​​Bijeljina and Sv.apostol Luka in Doboj tested 1,387 laboratory samples, and coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 543 people.
In the last 24 hours, 15 deaths have been reported to the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska, in which the presence of the coronavirus has been confirmed.
So far, 47,993 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republic of Srpska, and a total of 2,420 people have died who have been tested for coronavirus. In that B&amp;H entity, 37,342 people have recovered so far, and a total of 216,863 people have been tested.
Today, 39 new cases were registered in the Brčko District of B&amp;H after testing the 81 samples, and one recovery was recorded.
