Disneyland Paris, Europe's biggest tourist attraction, said Friday it will not be able to reopen as planned on April 2 because of the ongoing Covid-19 crisis.

The park, which employs 17,000 people, closed between March 13 and July 15 last year, and has been shut again since October 30.
Initially, Disneyland Paris had hoped to re-admit visitors in February, before setting April 2 as its new target date, depending on health conditions improving.
This time, the theme park held off from giving any new estimate for a reopening.
-We are optimistic that we will be able to reopen soon, and we will share updates when possible- it said on its website's homepage.
Anyone with bookings would be able to reschedule or ask for a refund, it said.
A union source at Disneyland said earlier this year that management expects a return to pre-pandemic levels of activity only in 2022.
The Disney group has announced 32,000 job cuts at its theme park activities worldwide by the end of the first quarter, mostly in the United States, because of the impact of the coronavirus.

-AstraZeneca is an excellent vaccine, as are the other vaccines that are being used- WHO spokeswoman Margaret Harris told reporters at a briefing in Geneva.

The Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of B&amp;H, headed by Alena Kurspahić-Nadarević, should very soon file a disciplinary lawsuit against Ranko Debevec, President of the Court of B&amp;H, regarding allegations of abuse of office and corruption.

We remind you that several disciplinary cases have been filed against the head of the Court of B&amp;H, and the report that he committed the criminal offense of abuse of position or authority under Article 220 of the B&amp;H Criminal Code and several corrupt acts was submitted to the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H in mid-March 2020.
More precisely, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, upon the report against Debevec that he abused his official position by not declaring property in Spain and dual citizenship, formed the case on March 18th last year and officially informed the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor about it.

Debevec was later reported for inappropriate contact with the accused ISA director Osman Mehmedagić, who was tried in the Court of B&amp;H, as well as a number of other abuses of office. All these allegations are being investigated by the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor, which officially launched a disciplinary investigation a month ago. After the disciplinary lawsuit is filed, Debevec is facing temporary removal from the office of President of the Court, which is also stated in Article 77 of the Law on the HJPC of B&amp;H.

The law clearly states that a judge or prosecutor may be temporarily removed from office “if disciplinary proceedings have been instituted for a disciplinary offense and the Chamber finds that disciplinary liability cannot be properly established without the judge or prosecutor being temporarily removed from office duties during the proceedings. "
However, the temporary suspension is valid only for the duration of the disciplinary proceedings. In the case of initiating a criminal investigation by the Prosecutor's Office, which is also very certain, the Chief Disciplinary Prosecutor is obliged to propose his suspension, until the investigation is completed.

This means that Debevec could be relieved of his duties very quickly, and in that situation the Court of B&amp;H would be headed by Judge Davor Jukić. In addition, Debevec does not benefit from the report to the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor, filed on September 17th last year, for inappropriate attempt to pressure and influence the undertaking of prosecutorial checks in the case against him. The report was filed by prosecutor Vedrana Mijović, who charged and formed a case against Debevec.

The report alleges that Debevec put pressure on her by sending her text messages in an attempt to stop or redirect the flow of prosecutorial checks on allegations in the criminal charges against him.
- From the messages sent to me, a clear and unambiguous conclusion can be drawn that, using his influence, the President of the Court of B&amp;H found out that I, as the acting prosecutor, sent requests to the HJPC and CS Ministry of Interior for the submission of official data at their disposal about him - Mijović stated in the report to the HJPC Office.
All these evidence sent to the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor speaks in favor of the fact that the head of the Court of B&amp;H committed numerous violations of the duty of a judge.

<h2>Inaccurate citizenship information</h2>

The Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H, by inspecting the personal file, determined that Debevec provided incomplete and inaccurate information when applying for the position of Prosecutor, Judge and President of the Court of B&amp;H and filling in the application form for the positions of judge, prosecutor and expert associate, in which he did not state the fact that he also uses the name Ranko Debevec Kaveson,and that, in addition to B&amp;H citizenship, he also has Spanish citizenship, which indicates that he committed a disciplinary offense prescribed by Article 56, item 19 of the Law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of B&amp;H – it is stated in the information of the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H.

The procedure for determining disciplinary responsibility must be completed within a year from the day of filing the official lawsuit, according to the Law on the HJPC.

Dodik: Presidency members express support for the agreement with Turkey

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has selected two companies to procure coronavirus vaccines, these are MGM Kakanj and Krajina Group.

In both cases, it is the Russian vaccine Sputnik V. The price of the dose is 17 euros, and the procurement contract with these two companies will be signed within four to five days, said the FB&amp;H Prime Minister Fadil Novalić at a press conference today.
At today's session, the FB&amp;H Government issued an order (instead of a recommendation) to the cantons to tighten epidemiological measures in accordance with the number of patients and the number of hospitalized persons with Covid-19.
Presenting the results of the work of the ad hoc commission for the procurement of vaccines, Novalić said that the commission sent a letter of intent to the addresses of 41 companies and that it received responses from seven or eight of them.
When choosing a supplier, the first criterion was the speed of procurement, and the second was the price. Given that the price of all offers was around 17 euros, preference was given to companies that promised the fastest delivery.
-We chose these two companies to do the job. One is the one that offers the fastest procurement. This is MGM Kakanj. It is a period of three days from the submitting of the letter of credit, and the same can be activated upon signing of the contract. The second company is Krajinagroup, which has direct communication with the Russian fund for Sputnik V, but they will need more time- said Novalić.
The vaccine will be procured in several contingents, provided that the first contingent must contain at least 100,000 doses.
Novalić added that the vaccines will be paid for after they are registered with the Medicines Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
We have secured from the FB&amp;H budget the amount of 12 million KM for the purchase of vaccines, which is enough for about 350,000 doses, Novalić added.

Delegations of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and the Croat Democratic Union (HDZ) B&amp;H today discussed Bosnia and Herzegovina's European path and meeting 14 priorities from the European Commission's Opinion, that are required to obtain candidate status for membership in the European Union.

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the B&amp;H Parliamentary Assembly and SDA Vice President Denis Zvizdić said that the meeting was constructive and that it expressed commitment to European integration and work on priorities that he believes need to be met in order for B&amp;H to show serious credibility in its application for EU membership.
He points out that he would not set a date when the eagerly awaited candidate status for membership could be obtained, but his position is that as many positive steps as possible should be taken along that path and that as many laws as possible should be adopted in order to achieve the status.
He confirmed that some of them have been implemented, and for some there is agreement, and that the law on public procurement and the law on conflict of interest should be adopted in the parliamentary procedure by the end of May, which will be in line with European practices, but also to start judicial reform.
-The Law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) and the Rulebook on the Integrity of Judges and Prosecutors would be important issues- Zvizdić added.
He announced that they would continue working on other recommendations, such as a ban on hate speech and the fight against torture and violence against women, but added that the meeting was the beginning of finalizing the phase needed for B&amp;H to obtain candidate status.

According to the Ministry, the vaccine will be intended to vaccinate health workers in the Federation of B&amp;H.
In addition, another 10,000 doses of vaccines are expected to be delivered from Serbia soon, which will be used for revaccination of those medical workers who will be vaccinated with the first dose.

He did not specify if Air France would use a system being developed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which is being tested by several international carriers.
But for now, the travel pass does not foreshadow a broader Covid vaccination requirement for travel or other activities, such as going to restaurants or the cinema, Djebbari said.

Johnson &amp; Johnson's single-dose Covid-19 shot is expected to be authorized by the European Union on Thursday, the bloc's fourth vaccine in the fight to end its chapter of the pandemic.&nbsp;Here's what you need to know.

Perhaps the most important figure to be aware of is "zero." 

That's how many people have died from Covid-19 after receiving the shot in a massive global trial of 40,000 people, compared to seven who got the placebo.
Overall, the vaccine prevented moderate to severe Covid-19 by 66.1 percent 28 days after the shot, but this rose to 85.4 percent when considering only severe disease.
What makes it most striking was that the good results against severe disease held up in both South Africa and Brazil, where concerning variants were dominant during the trial period.
In terms of safety, an analysis of 44,000 people showed it was generally well tolerated, with typical side-effects like injection-site pain, headache, fatigue and muscle pains.
There has been at least one case of anaphylaxis (severe allergic reaction) reported -- and such reactions have also been recorded for other Covid-19 vaccines in rare instances.

The FDA also said long-term monitoring was needed to determine whether the vaccine was linked to a small number of cases of potentially dangerous clotting, and to tinnitus (ear ringing).

<h2>How does it compare to other authorized vaccines?</h2>

The Pfizer and Moderna RNA-based vaccines were shown to have efficacies of around 95 percent against all forms of Covid-19 -- but it's still hard to make a direct comparison. 

That's because their clinical trials took place before newer variants, some of which have been shown to be less susceptible to current vaccines, were well established.
The RNA vaccines probably still have an edge, but the J&amp;J vaccine brings important logistical advantages to the table. 
It requires only one shot and can be kept long term in refrigerators, rather than freezers -- especially important for developing countries.
Though there's been one reported case of anaphylaxis, the suspicion is it will cause fewer such reactions because of the way the vaccine is formulated.

The J&amp;J vaccine uses a common-cold causing adenovirus, which has been genetically modified so that it can't replicate, to carry the gene for a key part of the coronavirus. 

The part is known as the "spike protein" and it's what gives the virus its crown-like appearance.
The vaccine delivers the instructions to make this protein to human cells, and our immune systems then develop antibodies against it, preventing the virus from invading cells.
Apart from antibodies, the vaccine also elicits the production of immune T cells, which kill infected cells and help make more antibodies.
J&amp;J's shot is known as an "adenovirus vector vaccine" and the company previously produced a European Union-approved Ebola vaccine using the same technology.
Oxford-AstraZeneca and Sputnik's shots are both adenovirus vector vaccines, too. 
They all use double-stranded DNA molecules to carry genetic instructions, rather than single-stranded RNA used by Pfizer and Moderna. 
DNA is more rugged, which allows these vaccines to be stored at warmer temperatures.

J&amp;J is moving ahead meanwhile with clinical testing for children and pregnant women soon.

While the J&amp;J vaccine so far has been single-dose, the company is also testing a two-dose regimen to see if it provokes a better response. 
But RNA vaccines might have the edge over adenovirus vaccines when it comes to boosters. 
Some scientists have raised concerns that the immune system will recognize and attack adenoviruses it has previously encountered, which in turn reduces the second shot's efficacy.
This could become particularly important as makers look to develop variant-specific vaccines, since the adenovirus vaccine makers might need to find new vectors.
