The Faculty of Medicine in Sarajevo did not submit prof. dr. Rifat Škrijelj, Rector of the University of Sarajevo (UNSA), certificate of passed postgraduate exams of Sebija Izetbegović in Zagreb, "Dnevni avaz" finds out.

15 days ago, Škrijelj asked the Medical Faculty in Sarajevo for documentation related to the academic career of Dr. Sebija Izetbegović, general director of KCUS, but it was incomplete, which is why last week he demanded that it should be supplemented and a new one sent.
On two occasions, the Rector requested information about the Izetbegović's postgraduate study and documentation on the election to the title of assistant, with precise evidence and certificates of passed exams. However, even in the supplemented information, the Faculty of Medicine did not submit to the UNSA Rectorate, as we have learned, a certificate of passing the postgraduate exams of Sebija Izetbegović in Zagreb.

The Faculty of Medicine in Sarajevo sent the Rectorate a copy of the Sebija Izetbegović's student booklet, which is not relevant proof of her academic education.
- There is also no decision of the Medical Faculty in Sarajevo which is recognizing the exams - claims our interlocutor, who is familiar with the complete procedure.
As we were told unofficially, Škrijelj decided to seek answers from the Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb in order to confirm the credibility of the student booklet. We remind you that it is still illogical how and when Sebija Izetbegović passed the first exam at the "postgraduate studies" in Zagreb in 1993.
In her application in August 1994 to the Council for Scientific Research and Postgraduate Studies in Sarajevo, she stated that she had enrolled in postgraduate studies on March 2nd, 1993 at the University of Zagreb - Faculty of Medicine.
But the published "Zagreb" student booklet reveals that Sebija Izetbegović, as she stated, enrolled in postgraduate studies on March 2nd, 1993, and already on March 19th, more precisely in 17 days, she passed the first exam.

The real question is when and how Sebija Izetbegović attended classes in the semester, because then the classes lasted for two years. In addition, each semester had a number of lectures and exercises that had to be done in order to take the exam.

It was established that Sebija was not a registered student at the postgraduate studies, which was recently confirmed to us by prof. Sanja Kupešić, who at that time worked at the Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb and was a lecturer.

<h2>The inspection requests additional documentation</h2>

Inspectors of the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs (KUIP), who last week began supervision at the Medical Faculty in Sarajevo with the aim of checking Izetbegović's academic education, continue to work.
As it was confirmed to us yesterday by the KUIP, the inspection continues with the collection of additional documentation necessary for the conduct of the inspection procedure. The Faculty of Medicine is obliged to submit all data to the acting inspectors within a period not longer than five days.

Muhamed Ajanović, the dean of the Faculty of Dentistry in Sarajevo, reacted today in a statement for "Dnevni avaz" to the information that he and his colleagues were trying to smuggle implants and bring them into the country. He said that Osman Mehmedagić Osmica, director of the Intelligence and Security Agency of B&amp;H (ISA), was behind the whole hoax, according to his report, he claims, the customs officers searched the delegation of the Faculty of Dentistry and the professors who traveled with them.
Ajanović claims that Mehmedagić and Ranko Debevec, the President of the Court, want revenge on him because he testified in several cases against them.
- ISA B&amp;H, because I am a witness for the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H in several cases against Osman Mehmedagić and Debevac, sent an act to the Directorate of the Indirect Taxation Authority to try to stop me, ie incriminate me. Unfortunately for them, they failed. It is a classic hoax - says Ajanović.

He claims the implants were found in the bags of his college colleagues, a donation they received during their official stay in the United States.
- There is official documentation for everything. However, this is a hoax. I was the target here, but their plan failed. I am under constant threats because Mehmedagić and Debevac are bothered by the truth and what I know about them and their corrupt activities. They want to cover everything up with my discrediting, but they will not succeed - says Ajanović.
Ajanović says that he forwarded messages to the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H and foreign embassies in B&amp;H in which Mehmedagić threatened him and connected him with LGBT people.
In addition, I have been warned on several occasions that an attack is being prepared for me. Even Mehmedagić hired certain MMA fighter to threaten me and deal with me physically. There is evidence for everything. Even CCTV photos. And that was reported to the Prosecutor's Office - says Ajanović.

Today, members of SIPA arrested a member of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of B&amp;H as part of the search in the case of Dženan Memić. The arrested police officer is Nebojša Veljović, "Avaz" finds out.
The property of Nedžad Hrvat, a member of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of B&amp;H, was also searched. His arrest is also expected.

As part of the investigation of the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H in the case of Dženan Memić's death, members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency of B&amp;H, the Federal Police Administration and the MUP of Sarajevo Canton, acting on the order of the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H and the Court of B&amp;H, are conducting searches at several locations in the area of Sarajevo, Zenica and Banja Luka, in order to gather evidence.
The activities are carried out within the case on which the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H is working intensively, and which refers to the criminal offense of organized crime in connection with obstructing the investigation and concealing evidence, all in connection with the death of young Dženan Memić in February 2016.
The two persons whose premises are being searched are members of the Directorate for Coordination of B&amp;H Police Bodies.

Russia saw further growth in daily coronavirus cases on Tuesday with 14,185 new cases registered over the last 24 hours, taking the tally to 5.23 million.

The number of active cases rose to its maximum since March 22 as 291,169 people are being treated for the infection.
Meanwhile, recoveries grew by 8,597 since Monday to reach 4.81 million while the number of fatalities increased by 379 to 127,180.
The capital Moscow remains the worst-hit region, making up almost 50% of all active cases, as 127,464 people have tested positive for COVID-19.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin announced a lockdown until June 19 to stem the spread of the virus. During this period, catering and entertainment venues are not allowed to serve visitors from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. and parks are open only for walks.
In Moscow Oblast, closely connected with the capital, Governor Andrey Vorobyov obliged employers and organizations to ban employees or customers from entering the premises without a protective mask. The rule does not apply to those who have been vaccinated.

Serbia's president hit out at Kosovo's new premier on Tuesday after talks in Brussels failed to make progress towards a solution to one of Europe's most intractable territorial disputes.

The Balkan neighbours were resuming decade-long negotiations mediated by the EU for the first time in almost a year, hoping to resolve differences still poisoning relations more than 20 years after they separated in war. 
Serbia has refused to recognise Kosovo's unilateral declaration of independence after the province broke away in the bloody 1998-99 conflict that was ended only by a NATO bombing campaign against Serb troops.
The meeting was the first since Kosovo's left-wing reformist prime minister Albin Kurti claimed a landmark win in parliamentary elections in February, pledging to take a new tack in the talks with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.
And the encounter appeared to get heated as both men laid out their positions. 
Vučić alleged Kurti had "demanded" Serbian recognition and refused to discuss a 2013 deal to set up ten Serb-majority "municipalities" in Kosovo that has never been implemented
-I've never attended this kind of a meeting in my life. Complete lack of responsibility- Vučić said in televised comments.
-The man (Kurti) came to ask me – when are you going to recognise independent Kosovo. I told him 'never', and he exploded.-For his part, Kurti called the talks "constructive". 
-We will take part in this process which is difficult- he told Kosovan media. 
-The Serbian side talked about old proposals, we brought four new proposals which were refused by the Serbian side.-EU envoy Miroslav Lajčak admitted: -It was not an easy meeting, but it was important that it happened.&nbsp;Both leaders had a very open and frank exchange on what they each want from the dialogue- he said.Despite the tough atmosphere both sides agreed to press on with the talks and Lajcak said a new round would happen "before the end of July".
The EU and United States have been pushing both sides to resume the talks since the change of leadership in Kosovo. 
The restarting of negotiations came as US President Joe Biden was just a stone's throw away, visiting European Union chiefs for a summit, but there was no meetings planned involving US officials.
The US has an outsized role in Kosovo, sometimes called the most pro-American country in the world, after leading the NATO intervention that forced out Serbia.
Kosovo has been recognised by more than 100 countries but Serbia still considers the territory as its southern province, and is supported by Russia and China.&nbsp;
