The international airport of Vietnam's capital will suspend inbound flights from abroad beginning Tuesday, the country's aviation body announced, as it grapples with a fresh wave of virus outbreaks.

A "temporary suspension of receiving international flights" will begin at Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport from June 1 at midnight until June 7, the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam said in a statement on Monday. 
Vietnam's health minister said over the weekend that authorities had discovered a highly infectious "new hybrid variant" -- a combination of the Indian and UK variants. 
Outbound international flights will continue from Hanoi, the statement said, but the government did not say if domestic flights would be part of the suspension.
While authorities promptly rolled back the assertion by saying the mutation still needed to be "studied further", alarm sounded across the country as it struggled to contain fresh outbreaks in more than half its territory. 
Last week, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam's southern business hub, issued a halt on foreign arrivals in its Tan Son Nhat International Airport. 
The suspension was supposed to be lifted by June 4, but the CAAV announced Monday that it would continue until June 14. 
Vietnam has already limited entries of foreign arrivals due to its Covid-19 restrictions, and every person coming in is subjected to mandatory quarantine.&nbsp;

Turkey ended a nationwide weekend curfew early Monday aimed at helping stem the spread of the coronavirus.

A Ryanair passenger plane travelling from Dublin to Krakow made an emergency landing in Berlin after authorities were alerted to a security threat which later proved to be unfounded, German police said Monday.

-We had a tip-off by telephone, and we had to be sure that there was no danger- a police spokesman told AFP.
While police gave no further details about the nature of the alert, German newspaper Bild Zeitung said the Poland-bound flight made the unexpected diversion late Sunday after a reported bomb threat.
With 160 people on board, the flight arrived at the Berlin-Brandenburg airport shortly after 8:00 pm (1800 GMT) Sunday. The passengers were later tranferred onto another plane which took off early Monday morning. 
Police said that officers had completed their security checks "without any danger being detected".
The flight was emptied with the baggage also searched, German media reported.
-The Ryanair plane that made an emergency landed reported an air emergency and was therefore immediately given a landing permit at BER- airport spokesman Jan-Peter Haack told Bild.
The incident comes a week after a Ryanair flight was forced to divert to Belarus, with a passenger -- a dissident journalist -- arrested on arrival.
And in July last year, another Ryanair plane from Dublin to Krakow was forced to make an emergency landing in London after a false bomb threat.

The Medical Chamber of the Sarajevo Canton published on its official website the decision to award the honorary title of chief of medicine to 33 doctors, including the director of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS), Sebija Izetbegović.

The decision was published six days ago and comes in the midst of violent reactions from the public and doctors regarding the dubious academic education of the wife of SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović.
- We would like to inform you that the honorary title of chief of medicine has been awarded in recognition of many years of successful work and special results achieved in protecting the health of the population and health development for the year 2020 - the Chamber said in a statement.
In the previous days, the Chamber condemned, as they stated, unfounded attacks on the director of KCUS, instead of asking that all allegations be investigated objectively, primarily about her postgraduate studies in Zagreb, on the basis of which she received her master's and then doctoral degrees.
Dr. Bakir Nakaš points out that the SC Medical Chamber has long lost all credibility and that it "works and acts according to the wishes of individuals", and not on the basis of real merits in health care.
- The chamber has been privatized. And all this has been happening since it was taken over by her (Sebije Izetbegović, Op. Cit.) Clinic. There is no longer an objective criterion, because all the reactions of the last days are essentially going in the direction of promoting Sebija and protecting her. The chamber totally collapsed. It is not even close to the one we created when we talked about values - says Nakaš.
He claims that the title of chief of medicine in SC has also been completely devalued.
- It is well known what is stated in the rulebook and what it refers to. It is known who can get the title of chief of medicine and why he/she has it. Today, it is awarded if someone is dear and nice to someone and according to their wishes - says Nakaš.
He reminds that a few years ago, many refused to be awarded this title because, as he states, they did not want to be side by side with certain people who did not deserve it.
- This title has become political, and the least professional - says Nakaš.

Turkey on Friday welcomed a resolution adopted by the UN Human Rights Council (OHCHR) calling for the urgent establishment of an international independent investigation commission to probe Israel's human rights violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Defamatory texts against Christian Schmidt continued in the following days, so in addition to being a "Russian man", we also received information from Osmica's journalist that he was also a Croatian lobbyist, closely connected with the HDZ, a person who received medals in Croatia given to war criminals (this is the Order of Ante Starčević, which was also awarded to Aziz ef Hasanović, President of the Meshihat of the Islamic Community in the Republic of Croatia, and former Mufti of Zagreb Ševko Omerbašić), a friend of Republika Srpska (as evidenced by the presence of Schmidt's party colleague at the celebration of RS Day a few years ago), and they in the meantime, informed us that Schmidt's appointment is allegedly opposed by the administration of newly elected US President Joe Biden.

Due to these incredible constructions, the former CDU representative in the Bundestag and a great friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Stefan Schwarz, reacted sharply, saying that Avdić's theories about Schmidt were "garbage".
- I read that crazy article. I'm angry and I'm sorry, but I have to speak freely: this article is full of garbage. There is so much false news and only crazy conspiracy theories in this work that I wonder how Avdić could have written them at all or why some media would publish such a joke - wrote Schwarz.
Russia has publicly opposed Schmidt's appointment, instead advocating the abolition of the OHR Office, and voted against Schmidt's appointment at the last PIC session. On the other hand, at the end of April, it was confirmed that the United States would also support the appointment of Schmidt.
In this way, Schwartz's claim that the theories of Avdić and Osmica are really just garbage was confirmed.

What exactly was a motive or, more precisely, political blindness that led Bakir Izetbegović's structures to launch a public lynching of the new High Representative, based on complete fabrications, remains unclear.
But what is certainly crystal clear is that it was insane to „welcome“ the new High Representative in advance and to be hostile to him.
Tihs is a continuation of the catastrophic suicide policy for Bosniaks that Izetbegović has been pursuing for years, from complete subordination to Erdogan, to Džaferović's anti-Western statements in Pakistan, a policy that has already led to the fact that Bosniaks in the West are having less and less open doors and strong allies.

Deputies of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly unanimously agreed today at an emergency session to conclude an agreement with the Russian Fund for Foreign Investments on the procurement of vaccines.

On April 15, Sarajevo Canton and the Government of the Federation of B&amp;H signed an agreement on joint procurement of Sputnik V vaccines from the Russian Federation, and agreed that 40 percent of vaccines would go to the Canton, 60 percent to the FB&amp;H Government or 200,000 doses to the Canton and 300,000 doses to the Federation of B&amp;H.

SC Assembly adopts a decision for procurement of Russian vaccines

The Service for Foreigners’ Affairs has undertaken operational activities aimed at controlling the movement and stay of migrants in the city of Bihać at four locations: Žegarsko polje, Debeljača, a location near the Cantonal Hospital and the Jedinstvo football stadium, where the migrants gathered and stayed in makeshift accommodation.
 
The Service for Foreigners’ Affairs stated that the inspectors of the Service found 255 migrants at the mentioned locations, mostly citizens of Pakistan and Afghanistan, and they were relocated, accommodated and taken care of in the temporary reception center Lipa.
Currently, medical examination, identification and registration activities are being carried out, as well as accommodation in the preventive isolation part of the temporary reception center Lipa.

- During 15 years of work at the Clinic "Sveti Duh" I was engaged as a teacher in the postgraduate study "Ultrasound in gynecology and obstetrics in Croatian and English", and for more than 10 years I taught the course "Ultrasound in human reproduction", also at in Croatian and English, and was an examiner at the exams - said Kupešić.
For the past 15 years, she is living and working in the United States as a professor of gynecology and obstetrics and is a vice dean at El Paso School of Medicine in Texas.
While she was living in Zagreb, she was working at the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics as the head of the Department of Human Reproduction, Infertility and Menopause.
- I remember that Sebija Izetbegović came to my ultrasound clinic for a short time as an observer. I have always taken education seriously and I was glad to share my knowledge and practical experience about new ultrasound techniques with all colleagues during education, including Dr. Izetbegović.
I don't remember Dr. Izetbegović was a registered student of formal ultrasound postgraduate classes, nor did she take an exam at my class. This is an easily verifiable fact, because the attendance of classes and practical work, which are a pre-condition for taking the exam, as well as the score achieved in the exam are recorded and easily verifiable at the Faculty of Medicine - said Kupešić.
Also, as Kupešić said, she does not remember that “Dr. Izetbegović independently or under supervision performed any examinations or did specialization, because she should have a permit from the Ministry of Health, in accordance with the Rulebook on specializations and narrower specializations ”.

- This information is certainly available and easily verifiable with the competent ministry. I also don't remember Dr. Izetbegović participated in the scientific research work of our team as an independent researcher or research associate, nor that she collected original data for the preparation of her master's degree or doctorate. This fact is easily verifiable because for each teaching project a letter is sent to the Ethical Trust of the hospital, which, in accordance with the Health Care Act, the Statute of the hospital and the Rules of Procedure of the Ethics Committee, approves scientific projects and dissertations - said Kupešić.

<h2>What happened with practical work</h2>

Kupešić says that the postgraduate studies were guided by the Ordinance on postgraduate professional studies at the Medical Faculty of the University of Zagreb.
- Every registered postgraduate student in "Ultrasound in Gynecology and Obstetrics" in Croatian or "Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology" in English, who successfully completed the curriculum (regularly attended classes and practical work, more than 80 percent), gained the right to take the exam, during which she/he received a record with a list of questions and grade, which was entered into the student booklet with the date and signature of the examiner - explained prof. Kupešić.

<h2>She was not part of the scientific research team</h2>

- To my knowledge, Dr. Izetbegović was never part of our scientific research team nor did she have access to the data of patients treated at the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of the Clinic "Sveti Duh" which she could use to prepare her master's thesis or doctoral dissertation - added Kupešić.
