It has been confirmed that the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) is exempting documentation from the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo on criminal charges filed by lawyer Damir Koldžo.
He told in a statement for "Avaz" that he is glad that the process started.
- I am glad that the Prosecutor's Office is doing its part and that it has started to exclude documentation. In the reports, I stated that the process should start as soon as possible, because it is evident that something is happening with the documentation at KCUS. I just hope that the whole process will not drag on, as it happened in previous cases - said Koldžo.

Members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) re-entered the University of Sarajevo Clinical Center (KCUS) this morning.
As confirmed for "Avaz" from the SC Prosecutor's Office, inspectors of the State Investigation and Protection Agency are conducting searches at the KCUS on the order of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, all because of allegations related to the commission of several crimes.
Searches are linked to serious crimes against human health, as well as the crime of negligent treatment, but also abuse of office.
As "Avaz" finds out, SIPA is acting on the criminal report of Damir Koldžo, the lawyer of the Palić family. On June 11th, he filed a criminal report with the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office against the director of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, Sebija Izetbegović, and others.
In the beginning of April, Sead Palić's wife Mirela Palić announced in a confession for "Avaz" that she will sue KCUS and the responsible persons for negligence in treatment.

Koldžo then said that he had filed a criminal report with the SC Prosecutor's Office against Sebija Izetbegović, as the director of KCUS, Amela Katica-Mulalić, head of the Clinic for Anesthesia and Resuscitation of KCUS, and other doctors for negligent treatment, abuse of position and authority.
He also reported the health inspector Luka Pirnat, a former employee of KCUS, who is a signatory of all documents as a health inspector of the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs. Lawyer Koldžo received the documentation on this case after more than two months.

- Gross medical errors and omissions were found, due to which I believe that there is a basis for filing a criminal report - said Koldžo.
We remind you that Sead Palić was admitted to KCUS on March 8th, in the midst of the third wave of the pandemic. He died on March 23rd at the age of 44. After the death of her husband, Mirela received only a death certificate. She received a discharge letter and documentation on the course of treatment only on May 17th.
The request for an autopsy was rejected and she hired a lawyer, and launched the group "Collective lawsuit against KCUS" on Facebook to gather families who share similar fates and gather evidence against this health institution.

After the meeting of the opposition leader with the US envoy for the Western Balkans, Matthew Palmer, the president of the Alliance for a Better Future of B&amp;H, Fahrudin Radončić, addressed the journalists.
- HDZ and SDA have been tying flags since 1990, and then the responsibility for changes or amendments to the Election Law is transferred to the opposition. The very good news is that Washington and Brussels are very willing to help B&amp;H. I think I can say on behalf of the entire opposition today that we are really well-meaning assistants who want to use this timing to give B&amp;H a fair Election Law in terms of interethnic relations, and that it is very important that these elections be fair.
Personally, I am afraid that people who have not been able to get a single vaccine for months, who are dealing with systemic corruption, abuse of intelligence services, who simply do not care that another 250,000 people will lose their jobs, will not want to take advantage of this good moment and good will of the international community, but this today's story will be good for them to divert attention from the existential issues of the citizens.
It is not up to the opposition and today we have all shown a high level of tolerance, inventiveness for B&amp;H to get fairer Election Law – said Radončić.
When asked whether the opposition will vote for the Election Law, as expected by SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović, Radončić answered:
- Mr. Izetbegović is known for unrealistic expectations. We cannot vote, at least as far as SBB is concerned, or about anything until we see it as a solution. There is no solution here, and we have been assured of that by the representatives of the international community, to whom we are grateful, in whom the opposition will not participate. So, as far as we are concerned, and that is shared by the leaders of other opposition parties, we will not raise hands on verisimilitude.

The wearing of face coverings in England will become a personal choice and the data that will determine if lockdown restrictions can be lifted this month was looking "very positive", Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick said on Sunday.

The Ukrainian Parliament, Verkhovna Rada, adopted a law Thursday on indigenous peoples at an extraordinary meeting.

The bill, initiated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, recognizes Crimean Tatars, Karaites and Krymchaks as “indigenous peoples of Ukraine.”
The bill was accepted in the general assembly with the support of 325 out of 345 deputies who participated in the voting.
Russians living in the country, on the other hand, will not be considered indigenous people because they have a state outside the borders of Ukraine.
The law guarantees the rights of indigenous peoples against assimilation, deprivation of cultural values, eviction or forced relocation.
It also guarantees their cultural, educational, linguistic and information rights.
Indigenous peoples of Ukraine will be able to establish their own educational institutions or cooperate with other educational institutions to teach their language, history and culture.
They will also have the right to establish their own media outlets through their representative bodies.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency, Ukrainian parliamentarian Rustem Umerov underlined that the law approved by parliament is an important and historical document for the country.
Umerov said the Crimean Tatars have been waiting for this law for nearly 30 years.
-Ukraine’s constitution states that the rights of indigenous peoples and national minorities are determined solely by Ukrainian law, but there was no specific law defining the rights of indigenous peoples.-Noting that the definition of "indigenous people of Ukraine" was established by the law, Umerov said that "accordingly, it is determined that the indigenous peoples of Ukraine are Crimean Tatars, Karaims and Krymchaks."
-The law guarantees the right of indigenous peoples of Ukraine to sustainable development as well as to culture, education, language and knowledge- he added.
Umerov noted that the law also determines the legal status of representative bodies of the indigenous peoples of Ukraine.
-Issues related to the international representation of the indigenous peoples of Ukraine were also identified. The adoption of this law is part of Ukraine's strategy for the deoccupation and reintegration of Crimea.-Umerov underlined that Zelensky's personal submission of the draft law on indigenous peoples to parliament is a sign that the protection of the rights of the Crimean Tatars is among the top priorities of Ukrainian state policy.

More than 6 million EU citizens have applied to remain in the UK before the June 30 deadline, a government statement said Friday.

The inspection procedure within which several inspections of educational inspectors of the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs of SC were performed at the Medical Faculty of the University of Sarajevo in June in the case of checking the fulfillment of conditions for obtaining the master's and doctoral degree and assistant professor Sebija Izetbegović was completed, it was said today from the Cantonal Inspection.

The inspection says that on the basis of the documentation that was presented, the acting inspectors were able to determine the factual situation according to which the candidate Sebija Izetbegović obtained the degree of doctor of medicine at that faculty in 1989.
But, as they state, having in mind the established factual situation which refers to the manner and procedure of acquiring the scientific degree of Master of Science by candidate Sebija Izetbegović, inspectors based on the documentation provided for inspection in the supervision procedure (including the document as proof of recognition of passed exams from the Medical Faculty of the University of Zagreb at the Medical Faculty of the University of Sarajevo) "could not assess or give the legal qualification of the data or acquired rights named listed in the certified photocopy of the student's transcript of the Medical Faculty of the University of Zagreb from March 2nd, 1993. "
- The reason is that the acting inspectors were not presented with relevant documentation related to the acquired rights of student Izetbegović at the postgraduate study of the Medical Faculty of the University of Zagreb (curricula, subject syllabuses, fund of hours of lectures, etc.).The inspectors also determined that then valid Statute of the Medical Faculty in Sarajevo from December 7th, 1991, gave members 151 to 153 the opportunity to continue their studies to students of long medical faculties with a clearly defined procedure for transferring students and recognizing passed exams, as well as continuing studies. Among the available documents was the Certificate dated June 5, 1996, signed by the then Dean of the Medical Faculty in Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Mulabegović Nedžada, as proof that Sebija Izetbegović passed all exams and fulfilled all other obligations in the postgraduate study in Fundamentals of Medical Research -experimental medicine of the Medical Faculty in Sarajevo, which is a public document under the then valid Article 103 of the Statute of that faculty - it was said.

In the circumstances of acquiring the academic title of assistant Sebija Izetbegović at the Medical Faculty of the University of Sarajevo, it was determined that she was appointed by the Decision of the UNSA Senate of October 29, 1996 and by the Decision of the Medical Faculty of November 12, 1996.
The condition for the selection of an assistant, pursuant to Article 238 of the then valid statute, was, among other things, the average grade of at least eight from the entire study and at least nine from the subject for which student applied, while candidate Izetbegović, as the public knows, had an average grade 7.38, and from the subject Gynecology and Obstetrics seven - it was said from the inspection.

<h2>There was a student training for assistants</h2>

However, as stated by the Medical Faculty Sarajevo, in the period when the appointed candidate was elected to the academic title of assistant, at the Medical Faculty it was the practice to select candidates for assistants in certain subjects are chosen by candidates who have a specialist exam in the field in which they are elected, and which the candidate Izetbegović possessed.
- In the statement was also written that it was a post-war period when "there were not enough staff for the normal functioning of the Institution" and "the priority was the establishment and implementation of the teaching-scientific process", as well as "that formal-legal shortcomings, if they existed, were not were only in the specific case. This morning, the main hearing on the disciplinary lawsuit against the President of the Court of B&amp;H, Ranko Debevec, was held in the premises of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of B&amp;H.Disciplinary Prosecutor's Office has filed a lawsuit against Debevec for intentionally providing misleading or insufficient information regarding job applications, disciplinary matters, promotion and advancement matters or any other matters within the Council's jurisdiction and conduct in court and out of court that damages the reputation of the judicial office.
The chairman of the Disciplinary Commission, Avdija Avdić, said that the public would be excluded during the part of the procedure when evidence will be presented that will reveal details from private life, the financial report and the testimony of two witnesses.
This morning, Chief Disciplinary Prosecutor Alena Kurspahić-Nadarević questioned three witnesses, and the first to testify was Vedrana Mijović, Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H.

<h2>Debevec received a "Mercedes" as a gift</h2>

This is a prosecutor who filed a case against Debevec in June 2019, and after that Debevec attacked her through media. She said that she has known Debevac since 2013. She said that they are together in several commissions and that they have a collegial relationship.
- On one occasion, I was late for the commission and then he sent me the SMS "they are waiting for you at the bar exam", and I replied that I was coming. Shortly afterwards, when I started checking my report, he asked me via the "Signal" application why I was checking his cms and files. On that day, I sent an act to the HJPC to grant me access to the file. Then I realized that he has information that I was the prosecutor in the report - said Mijović.
The same thing happened when Mijović asked the RS Ministry of the Interior for information on checking a "Mercedes" car.
- The report states that Debevec received a "Mercedes" as a gift. Afterwards, he asked me why I was investigating an innocent women and to greet Gordana (Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić, Op. cit.). He also asked me why I was checking the car - said Mijović.

<h2>She notified the Disciplinary Prosecutor</h2>

Further, in her testimony, she stated that she considered that Debevec known the content of the checks and she informed the disciplinary prosecutor about it. She printed out the messages from the applications and filed them in the file. Three months have passed from the receipt of the message to the report to the Disciplinary Commission, and considering that the statute of limitations is five years, Mijović believes that not much time has passed.
Debevec's lawyer Vasvija Vidović asked the witness to explain how the letters reached the public.
- The report against Debevec was received by the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H, the Office of the Disciplinary Commission, several embassies. I deny that I made it public. I have nothing to do with how the documents came to light. More documents have been published and I don't know how the media got to them - said Mijović.
Vidović asked if she had filed an indictment, to which Mijović said no because the case is still being investigated.
Debevec asked the witness if they had ever exchanged messages before, to which Mijović replied that they might have once wished each other a Happy New Year. He then asked her if she had ever drank coffee in his office, which Mijović denied.
-Have you ever drove me home in your Golf V- asked Debevec.
-I don't remember I did- she replied.

Defense witnesses Judge Minka Kreho and Judge Davorin Jukić testified about the relationship between Debevec and Mijović. Both witnesses pointed out that they were members of the Commission and that Debevec and Mijović were on good terms.
After the witnesses testified, material evidence was presented. Among other things, video materials of the meeting between Debevec and ISA director Osman Mehmadagić from December 14th, 2020 are attached. The video shows the two of them entering the building together in Branilaca Sarajevo Street at 5:04 PM. They stayed there until 7:21 PM.
The chief disciplinary prosecutor said that in December 2020, Debevec met with Mehmedagić, who was being prosecuted at the time, in front of a third-person apartment.

The Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H has prepared an indictment in the "Memić" case, which refers to the circumstances of the murder of young man Dženan Memić in February 2016 in Great Alley in Ilidža, "Avaz" has learned.

The indictment should be forwarded to the Court of B&amp;H for confirmation by July 20 at the latest.
According to the information that "Avaz" has, it is possible that the indictment will be raised by the end of next week, considering that the Prosecutor's Office has completed the main part of the indictment and specified who will be on the court room.
This is a case that the State Prosecutor's Office took over from the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office at the end of 2019.
We learn that for now, an indictment will be filed against Alisa Mutap, Dženan's ex-girlfriend who was with him at the scene of the accident, but also her father Zijad Mutap. Alisa Mutap, who was recently arrested, has claimed all these years that she does not remember anything because she had amnesia.

Hasan Dupovac, former head of the Traffic Accident Department of the SC Ministry of the Interior, police officer Josip Barić and Muamer Ožegović, an employee of the „Crystal“ Hotel in Ilidža, will also be in court room.
All of them have been arrested and are in custody, and they are under investigation for the criminal offense of assisting the perpetrator after the criminal offense was committed, more precisely for concealing and destroying evidence.
The arrested police officers of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies, Nedžad Hrvat and Nebojša Veljović, as we were told, will be witnesses.

In this case, the investigation was extended to several more persons, and a total of 60 witnesses testified in the investigation, of which nine sought and received protection.

The trial on the "Face TV" lawsuit against Bosmal, which was scheduled for today in the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, has been postponed to September 10.
The owner and editor of "Face TV", Senad Hadžifejzović, told the gathered journalists today in front of the court that this television actually "forces Bosmal to take a million and a half KM and to respect the contract that was signed eight years ago".
-Face TV d.o.o. sued Bosmal d.o.o. to respect the contract, that is, to force them to take a million and a half marks from us, in order for us to buy the space for which we have a contract from 8 years ago. So, we are forcing Bosmal to take a million and a half marks and to respect that contract - said Hadžifejzović. 
He claims that Bosmal is avoiding its obligations.
- We think it's for political reasons. The director of Bosmal said that he had received an order from the SDA and Reis Cerić, Hasan Čengić and Bakir Izetbegović to evict us. We got the lawauit in the Municipal and Cantonal Courts and then the Supreme Court in the single-ethnic council, which the party council, composed of three Bosniaks, returned the case to the Municipal Court with the same judge. That is political pressure. If the court ruled against our lawsuit, "Face" would be revoked, because we have nowhere else to go – said Hadžifejzović. 
The hearing was not held today because the defendants did not appear in court.
A hearing for the case between the parties Bosmal d.o.o Sarajevo and Face d.o.o Sarajevo was to be held today in the Municipal Court. The Association "Witnesses of Its Time" will tomorrow start the tenth "Peace March Sarajevo - Nezuk - Srebrenica" from the Memorial to the Murdered Children of the Besieged Sarajevo 1992-1995, entitled "March in Memory of Genocide Victims in the protected United Nations zones".

The March will be an eight-day journey of more than 280 kilometers, in memory of several thousand Srebrenica residents who crossed the nearly 100-kilometer path in July 1995 to find salvation in Tuzla.
One of the organizers of the March, Muhamed Papić, told FENA that this year they decided to limit the number of participants, respecting all epidemiological measures.
-A total of 18 participants from all parts of B&amp;H and friends from Turkey will leave Sarajevo for Potočari on July 3- Papić pointed out.
The march is organized in memory of the innocent citizens killed in Srebrenica, but also those from the places they will visit along the way.
-The goal is clear, and that is for this to never happen to anyone what had happened to the people of Podrinje and Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole. We also want to send the message that we will never and must not forget any of the victims- he said.
