German police are carrying out a helicopter search for a man who stabbed two passers-by in the eastern city of Erfurt early on Monday morning, police said.

Britain's defence ministry said on Monday that it was investigating how nearly 50 pages of secret military documents were lost by a senior ministry official and ended up at a provincial English bus stop.

The BBC reported that the classified documents - including some relating to Afghanistan and others analysing Russia's potential reaction to the passage of a British destroyer through the Black Sea - were found on Tuesday.&nbsp;-A number of Ministry of Defence classified documents were lost by a senior official early last week. - The Steering Board of the Press and Online Media Council in Bosnia and Herzegovina expresses great concern with the decision of the judge of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo Mirsada Karahmetović, which deducted 212,000 KM of court penalties from the account of "Avaz-roto press", which will be paid to the Cantonal Prosecutor Tuzla's Jasminka Djedović, which received a defamation lawsuit against this media house in 2016 and on the basis of which it has already been paid 5,001 KM.
Without going into the reasons for this action of the Court, and respecting the judicial system of B&amp;H, the Board of Directors of the Press and Online Media Council of B&amp;H estimates that such a high fine against "Avaz-roto press", the publisher of "Dnevni avaz", which is a full member of the Council, is contrary to its purpose because the amount imposed is disproportionate and jeopardizes the business of the media. That is, it calls into question the further work of the media, the existence of dozens of editors, journalists and media workers, and their families.

Such a decision, if accepted as common case law, could have serious repercussions, not only on the work of "Avaz-roto press", but also on other publishers and media in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Such actions discourage not only existing but also new actors on the media scene who can contribute to the development, promotion and protection of the values of freedom of expression.
The Press and Online Media Council in B&amp;H points to increasing political and economic pressures on the work of the media, including increasing defamation lawsuits, and expresses concern that such methods, absolutely unacceptable in a democratic society, jeopardize the already fragile freedom of reporting and freedom of the media, and lead to the unwanted and dangerous phenomenon of self-censorship and censorship - it is written in the statement of the Board of Directors of the Press and Online Media in B&amp;H.

This is difficult to explain by legal reasons, but political reasons they are very clear. The couple Izetbegović, Sebija and Bakir, and their housekeeper, the head of the Intelligence and Security Agency (ISA) of B&amp;H Osman Mehmedagić Osmica have all the motives and interests to silence and economically destroy "Dnevni avaz", and it is a public secret that they control the Municipal Court in Sarajevo in terms of personnel and other means.
So, their message, sent through judge Karahmetović, is that they will not stop even from the drastic abuse of judicial power, all with the aim of shutting down the free media. In that sense, "Avaz" is first on their list, because it has been writing and and revealing crime and corruption for years, whose main sponsor is SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović.
Things need to be called by their real names. After they failed to silence "Avaz" by other means, Bakir Izetbegović and his assailants decided to try to destroy "Avaz" economically. First of all, they put pressure on large advertisers and companies under the control of the SDA not to advertise in our newspaper, and that has been going on for years. When they did not achieve the desired effect, they switched to coordinated action with eligible judges and prosecutors, and the result was the verdict of judge Karahmetović.
"Avaz" is a "disruptive factor" and a great obstacle because it continuously writes about the murder of Dženan Memić, the fight of his father Muriz and lawyer Ifet Feraget for truth and justice in this case. As time goes on, the contours of the high-ranking persons behind the cover-up of this murder can be seen.

ISA director Osman Mehmedagić Osmica is one of those whom the Memić family publicly calls out and urges not to obstruct the investigation, and KCUS director Sebija Izetbegović has not yet answered why KCUS changed the commissions for expert examination of amnesia of the recently arrested Dženan's girlfriend Alisa Mutap.
"Avaz" also monitors and regularly writes about Osmica's and Sebija's controversial and dubious diplomas. The owner of the American University in B&amp;H, Denis Prcić, was recently arrested, a person suspected by the State Prosecutor's Office of issuing a fake diploma to Osman Mehmedagić.
On the other hand, there are more and more details that show that Bakir's wife Sebija Izetbegović does not have a valid and regular postgraduate diploma. She claims that she started her studies in Zagreb and finished in Sarajevo, while facts and relevant witnesses such as academician Asim Kurjak and professor Sanja Kupešić claim that Sebija never attendet their classes or that they graded her on postgraduate studies at the Medical Faculty in Zagreb.
In addition, the responsibility of the KCUS management for the large number of deaths due to coronavirus infection in the respiratory department of the KCUS has yet to be clarified. The use of Chinese ventilators in KCUS is also disputable, the same ones for which the Federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalić and others are being tried in the Court of B&amp;H.
Should it be reminded that Sebija Izetbegović was a witness in the "Ventilators" case, and prosecutors believe that she was personally involved in the purchase of ventilators from China at a incredible price of 10 and a half million marks.

Although her husband Bakir is trying to sell the public a false image of Sebija's success in treating coronavirus patients and Fadil Novalić's alleged success in procuring vaccines and in an economic response to the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, „Dnevni avaz“ is a media house that exposes Bakar's lies and deceptions of his government.
Bakir's Federal Prime Minister, Fadil Novalić, so far has not independently procured a single vaccine on the world market, and during that time, for example, the president of neighboring Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, built a vaccine factory and saved the lives of Bosniaks from B&amp;H, who go to Serbia to get vaccinated. The same Bosniaks that Bakir has been leading unsuccessfully and dictatorially for 30 years.
Also, "Avaz", on behalf of the public, is looking for an answer to the question why so many people, due to the negligence of the authorities and the lack of vaccines, died from the coronavirus, and they should not have.
This is just a short list of reasons why "Avaz" bothers them and why they want to shut it down at any cost. "Avaz", however, will not give up, it will continue to write about the scandals of Bakir's government and about everything that represents the fight against high corruption and crime, because it is simply the duty of every free media.
In the end, the question remains open for the public and democratic institutions - what will happen to other independent media whose publication would be stopped by a much smaller sentence than the one that was sentenced by the regime to "Avaz".

<h2>Chronology and absurdity of prosecutor Jasminka Djedović's request</h2>

The disputed text for which prosecutor Jasminka Djedović received a defamation verdict was not published in "Dnevni avaz", but in the tabloid "Express", whose publisher is also "Avaz-roto press".
The author of the text was the then journalist of this tabloid, Šejla Jugo-Turković, and it was published on July 2nd, 2009. The aggrieved prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office from Tuzla, Jasminka Djedović, who is mentioned in the text, filed a defamation lawsuit on September 23rd, 2009.
On July 6th, 2012, the Sarajevo Municipal Court rendered the first instance verdict on her lawsuit. "Avaz-roto press" was ordered to pay 5,001 KM in the name of non-pecuniary damage due to defamation, increased by the amount of court costs.
"Avaz-roto press" paid the stated amount within the legal deadline, and according to the finality of the verdict, it was published in the tabloid "Express" on October 27th, 2016. Prosecutor Djedović was not satisfied with the size of the area where the verdict of the Sarajevo Municipal Court was published (it is a few centimeters in question) and asked the Court to order the verdict to be republished, which was done on October 8th, 2020.
So, after "Avaz-roto press" paid 5,001 KM in the name of compensation for non-pecuniary damage to Jasminka Djedović and the costs of litigation in the amount of 4,019 KM, and made default interest of 4,232 KM and twice published the verdict on the pages of "Express", last on 22 June 2021, the judge of the Sarajevo Municipal Court, Mirsada Karahmetović, issued a decision on the payment of non-existent court penalties to the prosecutor Djedović in the total amount of an incredible 212,000 KM.
On June 1, 2021, the legal team of „Avaz-roto press“ filed a complaint with the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor of the HJPC against prosecutor Jasminka Djedović.
Among other things, the legal team stated that "prosecutor Jasminka Djedović is trying to collect compensation through court penalties that the Court did not award her."
&nbsp;„Due to the experience and knowledge she has, it is clear to her that the request for the payment of 207,900 KM of court penalties is unreasonably high and that it is contrary to the purpose for which the legislator determined the payment of court penalties. Prosecutor Djedović is part of the judicial system and she must take into account, as required by the Code of Prosecutorial Ethics, that her financial interests must not negatively affect the dignity of the function she performs“, stated the legal team of „Avaz-roto press“ in the complaint to the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor.

<h2>Even Lukashenko is not doing this </h2>

What Bakir's regime is doing and how it is dealing with independent media in B&amp;H has not been seen even in Belarus, which is ruled by "the last European dictator" Alexander Lukashenko.
That is why journalists and editors of "Dnevni avaz" rightly expect an adequate reaction from the representatives of the international community in B&amp;H, Western embassies in Sarajevo, as well as journalists' associations.
This is not the first time that „Dnevni avaz“, as the largest and most influential media in B&amp;H, has been under attack from the SDA authorities.
We remind you of the well-known attempt of the then SDA government from 2000 to impose tax evasion on "Avaz", which was strongly condemned by the US State Department in an official statement on June 26th, 2000.

The 'booster' vaccine's trial will involve around 2,250 participants from Britain, South Africa, Brazil and Poland.
They include people who have been fully vaccinated with two doses of the original Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine or an mRNA vaccine such as Pfizer as well as those who have not got the jab at all.
The new vaccine, known as AZD2816, has been designed using the same base as the main AstraZeneca shot but with minor genetic alterations to the spike protein based on the Beta variant.
-Testing booster doses of existing vaccines and new variant vaccines is important to ensure we are best prepared to stay ahead of the pandemic coronavirus, should their use be needed- said Andrew Pollard, chief investigator and director of the Oxford Vaccine Group at the University of Oxford. 
Britain has had a succesful vaccine roll out programme, but experts do not know how long protection lasts. 
-This study will provide vital evidence on whether further doses including 'tweaks' against new virus variants may be needed in the future- said Maheshi Ramasamy, Principal Investigator at the Oxford Vaccine Group.
Initial data from the trial is expected later this year.
Current vaccines are believed to be less effective against the Beta variant, although it is the Delta variant, which emerged in India, that is currently causing most concern.
Although the main vaccines are believed to be highly effective at preventing serious illness, the Delta variant's transmissible nature is leading to a spike in cases in some countries, including Britain.

Paris prosecutors have charged a young woman with aggravated manslaughter over the death of an Italian on the Seine river embankment in Paris earlier this month in a collision with an electronic scooter.

The woman, who is a nurse, is suspected of driving the scooter that hit the 32-year-old Italian woman, said a source close to the investigation on Sunday, asking not to be named.
The incident revived debate over the safety risks in allowing the hugely popular devices onto the busy streets of Paris.
The woman was charged late Saturday with manslaughter, aggravated by fleeing the scene and deliberately showing negligence in the June 14 accident. 
She was released but placed under judicial control ahead of trial.
The suspect had been detained on Thursday along with another young woman after a 10-day search for the driver of the scooter. The other woman was released on Friday.
The accident happened when the Italian, Miriam S. born in Rome but living in Paris, was in the pedestrianised area to socialise with colleagues. She was talking to a friend when she was hit by the scooter with two people on board who both then fled.
She died of her wounds two days later on June 16.
The scooters have drawn the ire of many residents and some city councillors who say they are cluttering up already crowded sidewalks and squares.
In 2019, a man in his 80s was struck and killed in the Paris suburb of Levallois-Perret, and last year a 75-year-old woman was killed in Paris after being hit by an e-scooter.&nbsp;Officially they are forbidden on sidewalks and only one rider is allowed, but enforcement is scant and many riders, including tourists, ignore or are unaware of the rules.
Paris also has a e-scooter speed limit of 20 km/h (12 mph) and prohibits parking them on sidewalks or public squares, where they are often scattered either upright or knocked over.
An April survey of 237 users by Axa Prevention, part of the Axa insurance group, found that 79 percent admitted to riding on sidewalks, while 66 percent said they would roll through yellow traffic lights instead of stopping.
In 2020, 78 pedestrians were injured in France after being struck by e-scooters or so-called "personal transporters" -- such as gyropods and electric skateboards -- according to the Securite Routiere road safety agency.

A skydiving instructor and their customer died Sunday after falling from a plane before a tandem jump in Australia.

Police said two people died in the accident at Goulburn, about two hours' drive southwest of Sydney, after the aircraft began experiencing "difficulty".
-Two parachutists fell from the aircraft and landed near the runway of the airport. They were located unresponsive and unable to be revived- police said in a statement.
Scott Marshall, from Adrenaline Skydive Goulburn, told The Daily Telegraph newspaper it was a "horrible day" for all those impacted by the tragedy.
-Sadly, a tandem master and passenger lost their lives. My heart goes out to their families- he said.
The incident will be investigated by police and the Australian Transport Safety Bureau.

Thailand from Monday will reimpose Covid-19 restrictions on restaurants, construction sites and gatherings in the capital Bangkok and its suburbs as it tries to contain a wave of coronavirus cases.

After a year of relative success in keeping infection rates low, Thailand's latest wave kicked off in April when a cluster was found in upscale Bangkok clubs typically frequented by the elite.
Since then, more have been discovered in its overcrowded prison system, as well as among migrant workers who toil in its construction and service industries.
The government said in an order published Saturday that new restrictions will begin Monday and last for a month.
They include closing construction sites in Bangkok and surrounding areas, banning workers from leaving, prohibiting eat-in customers at restaurants, and restricting gatherings to a maximum of 20 people.
Checkpoints will be set up in Thailand's southernmost provinces of Narathiwat, Pattani, Yala and Songkhla. Travellers must carry a "letter of intent" to leave or enter.
The new restrictions come ahead of the July 1 launch of a quarantine-free model for vaccinated tourists in the popular holiday destination Phuket.
The so-called "Phuket sandbox" has been touted as a way to resuscitate Thailand crucial tourism industry and related sectors such as service, restaurants and transport.

The case of his son's death is still unresolved, and the progress made by the Memić family in shedding light on the murder of Dženan Memić also gives Davor hope. Although one died in Banja Luka, and the other in Sarajevo, they did not know each other, their tragic fates united the Dragičević and Memić families. And not only them, but also the entire B&amp;H public.
The latest decision of the B&amp;H Constitutional Court, according to which Davor's human rights and fundamental freedoms were violated for him and the group "Justice for David", is, he says, a scripture in future trials that will be conducted towards the authorities and institutions in RS. The Court of B&amp;H and the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H are the only bright spots in the country in which, as he points out, he has full confidence that they will bring his case to the end.

- Both appeals were merged and adopted and Ifet Feraget, with this appeal, made all the decisions of the District Public Prosecutor's Office Banja Luka, headed by Želimir Lepir and Dalibor Vreća, and the Republic Public Prosecutor's Office Banja Luka, headed by Miodrag Bajić, clear that the authorities are protecting the kidnappers and the killers of my son. This opened the door wide for the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gordana Tadić, to undertake a prompt and adequate investigation. They have all the evidence. With this decision of the Constitutional Court, the RS institutions will bear great responsibility from time to time - Dragičević says.

He points out that one of the key witnesses reached out to him.
- Finally, one of the key witnesses in the process of organized murder of my son reached out to me and I thank him for his courage. He will be one of the key witnesses for all that I and Muriz Memić claim, that our children were killed with clear intent. This must come to an end once and for all, and I hope for a quick action by the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H - says Dragičević.

He called, as he said, "political vultures" to separate from the groups "Justice for David" and "Justice for Dženan".
- Only with our fight and strength, we managed not to appoint Slavica Matijaš as the chief district prosecutor in Banja Luka, and the group "Justice for Dženan" managed not to appoint Dalida Burzić to the position of Gordana Tadić. These are the successes of only our groups "Justice for David" and "Justice for Dženan" and our lawyer Ifet Feraget - says Dragičević.
He says he will not appear before the Basic Court in Banja Luka in September at the defamation hearing.
- I will not go before criminals and murderers, there is now a verdict of the Constitutional Court of B&amp;H and I can do nothing more. Who needs to show up will show up. This will end with the Court and the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, my child will receive justice and then I will be a free man - concluded Davor Dragičević.
Asked whether he will return to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragičević says that he cannot return to Banja Luka because, as he states, the murderers of not only his child but also Jovan Arbutin, Nikola Đurović and Slaviša Krunić have been walking freely on its streets for more than three years.
